BILLY Gilmour's younger brother Harvey has made a big transfer move.
The Ardrossan teen has signed a short-term deal at West of Scotland Football League Premier Division side Glenafton Athletic.
The East Ayrshire outfit confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old on Tuesday, April 2, with Gilmour making the move until the end of the season.
The transfer sees the midfielder take a step up from his most recent club, having signed with Kilwinning Rangers under-20s earlier this season.
Prior to this, Gilmour had enjoyed a fruitful spell with professional club Kilmarnock where he was part of the youth set up for over five years.
He signed his first professional contract with the Rugby Park club in the summer of 2022 though was moved on following the completion of the season.
Gilmour will now hope to play a key role with Glenafton as Ryan Caddis' side aim to avoid the drop from the Premier Division.
Fans could get a first sighting of the teenager on Tuesday, April 2, when the New Cumnock side host rivals Auchinleck Talbot at Loch Park.
He will become the second Gilmour to pull on the Glens jersey after his brother Billy was spotted training with the club during the summer of 2023 as he stepped up his fitness efforts ahead of his return to Brighton & Hove Albion.
