CRAIGMARK Burntonians are on the manager hunt after boss Ryan Caddis left the club.
The Dalmellington based outfit confirmed the news with a statement on Sunday, October 8.
It brings to an end a spell of just over two years at the club for the boss, who took up his first role in management when he took charge of the club back in 2021.
Caddis departs alongside his coaching staff, parting ways by "mutual consent" according to the club's statement.
The club added that the staff will be leaving to take up a "new role elsewhere" but there was no confirmation of exactly what this role will be.
The statement said: "We would like to let our support know that the club has officially parted with with manager Ryan Caddis and his coaching staff by mutual consent.
"Ryan, Darren, David and Scott are leaving us with the best of wishes in their new venture. The boys have given us everything over the last few years whether it be on the pitch or from the sidelines.
"The management informed the team today of their decision this afternoon and will be taking up their new post elsewhere in the coming week.
"We would like to put it on record our immense thanks to all of them. Over the last three season Ryan and the team have produced som amazing results taking a few big scalps along the way.
"Their contributions have helped make Craigmark Burntonians a name that clubs will think twice about when coming to Station Park."
The club are now expected to begin the process of appointing a new management team in the coming days. Until then, senior players Kieron McCrum and Mark Gilmour will take charge.
Experienced player Caddis, 37, departs having turned Craigmark's fortunes around in recent seasons.
He nearly guided the club to promotion from the WoSFL Second Division last season, and helped the club to take a number of big names out in cup competitions.
As recently as this season Craigmark took Premier Division side Troon to penalties in cup competitions and last season dispatched of Largs Thistle and Cumnock Juniors on the way to the West of Scotland Cup quarter-finals.
Though the former Ayr, Stranraer and Alloa attacker, who also spent time in the 'juniors' with Annbank, Hurlford United, Ardrossan Winton Rovers, Cumnock, Irvine Meadow and Girvan - as well as a stint with amateur side Hurlford Thistle - has seen his struggle so far this season.
They currently lie in the relegation zone with eight points taken from their opening nine games - though in a tightly packed league one win could lift them from 15th to ninth place.
