Muirkirk Juniors parted ways with boss Jose Quitongo yesterday (Tuesday October 21) following a resounding defeat in the New Coin Holding Cup at the weekend.
Quitongo's side were destroyed 12-0 by Scottish Cup holders Hurlford on Saturday which added to a 9-0 drubbing against Glenafton and a 16-0 hammering from Cumnock both in the Ardagh Glass Cup in August.
Angolan player-manager Quitongo joined the Kirk in 2013.
The club took to social media to announce Quitongo's departure, tweeting: "Jose Quitongo has left the post of manager at the club. The club would like to thank him for his time at the club and wish him all the best."
