RISING bowling star Carrie McLean took the Under 16s Singles title at the recent Ayrshire Championships with a hard fought 21-17 win over Maybole Memorial Park's Nathan White.

And Glaisnock Valley Bowling Club's dynamite double of Billy and Stewart Anderson came away with the Pairs trophy, beating Springhill's C. Coupland and J. Hume 17-11.

WORLD and Commonwealth star Paul Foster took the Singles title back to Troon.

Four-time world indoor champion Paul enjoyed a 21-7 win over Darvel's Grant Hamilton.

The Under 25's title went to Kilwinning when Chris Carswell saw off Springside's Iain McCulloch 21-14.

Troon's William McCallum made it dazzling double fo the town when he took the Senior Singles title with a 21-14 win over Newmilns David Crozier.
