A WEATHER warning is in place for parts of East Ayrshire this week.
The Met Office has issued the update that will cover parts of the Cumnock area, as well stretching towards Dalmellington and Upper Nithsdale.
The west coast of the country is unaffected by the warning, which also covers the full east coast.

A yellow warning is in place for ice from 9pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning (December 4), with temperatures expected to fall below freezing during the nights.
The warning adds: "Ice will form on untreated surfaces, perhaps causing some transport disruption and increasing the chance of accidents."
