NEW Cumnock Fire Station held a popular annual event in aid of charity at the weekend.
Once again, with support from New Cumnock Development Trust and the Firefighters charity, the special Christmas market and Santa's grotto got the locals into the festive spirit.
In the past, the station has raised hundreds of pounds for charity thanks to the drive through Santa events.
The event on Sunday, December 1 raised over £800 towards The Firefighters Charity.
The charity helps all serving and retired firefighters to live a happier and healthier life by providing vital support.
Youngsters could get their faces painted, as well as throw snowballs at the Grinch and meet Santa.
A spokesperson for the fire station said: "New Cumnock Fire Station would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to our Santa’s Grotto and Christmas market ,it was unbelievably busy for our first market and we loved every minute of it.
"At this time we have done a brief count and we are over £800 for The Firefighters Charity with more money to come in.
"We would like to thank the New Cumnock Development Trust for their support in this event, and we hope all the market stalls also did well and thank you for your donations .
"Thanks from your crew for your support again, Merry Christmas!"
Well done to all who put on the event!
