HUGE crowds gathered in Catrine at the weekend once again as an annual Christmas event brought the festive cheer.
Make Catrine Sparkle aims to show the positive side of the village and begin the official build-up to Christmas, and the 2024 edition was no different.
Organised by Catrine Community Council, all the favourites returned this year, including a visit from one of Mauchline's fire engines, the Christmas light switch-on, and, of course, the parade which brings the event to life.
Every year, school kids and other groups help out to support the fantastic parade's lantern display.
Santa's sleigh joined the parade, thank to support from Cumnock and District Round Table.
The market village was full of wonderful stalls, as well as fun games and entertainment- including Santa's grotto.
A fantastic fireworks display brought the five-hour event to a close, with attention already turning to next year's edition.
A Catrine Community Council spokesperson said: Thank you to everyone who came along and helped Catrine sparkle tonight.
"Hope you all had a great night.
"A special mention to the sparkle elves, stall holders, Amey, CRAG, Cumnock and District Round Table and Santa who worked hard to make it all possible."
The special event relies partly on donations, and you can help towards next year's costs online.
