GRAND plans have been submitted to build a new seven-bedroom house close to the luxury Ballochmyle Estate near Mauchline.
The submission has been put to the council's planning chiefs by Mr Ahmed who was refused permission to build three homes on the site earlier this year- a decision he later appealed before that was also dismissed.
Mr Ahmed is now looking to downsize his plans to just one home, which would include a cinema room, sauna, lift, and the aforementioned seven bedrooms.

A garage space for three cars would also be included in the plans.
Also included in the submission is the hope of putting cattle on the land, subject to future discussions.
A planning statement with the application states: "Mr Ahmed has owned this land for over five years and has been maintaining the land.
"There has also been numerous ‘fly-tipping’ instances on this land that Mr Ahmed has had to deal with.
"The design and character are very similar to the adjacent developments in the area.
"Mr Ahmed and his family are more than wiling to make such adjustments to this application should these be necessary as their goal is to reside in the area and live close to their current businesses, whilst they look to expand into the farming industry to make good use of their land."
