A CUMNOCK strongman is aiming to combat mental health issues by offering free use of his gym facilities.
Dougie Black, who operates The Unit Strength and Conditioning at Borland Farm between Cumnock and New Cumnock, has been offering the free time all throughout November.
The final free evening sessions of the month will take place on Monday, November 25 from 8-10pm.

A keen believer in how exercising can combat some mental issues, Dougie says that people are welcome to go along to the gym and use the strength equipment with no strings attached.
He's hoping that by giving people a place to go and potentially switch off for an hour or two, it can encourage more people to speak out and share their stories.
The initiative has been running to coincide with men's mental health month in November, which Dougie has also been a strong advocate for.
