A VITAL Ayrshire charity has been handed a timely funding boost by the National Lottery.
No One Dies Alone Ayrshire has been awarded funding that will cover another three years of staff salaries.
The charity has been running for the past six years, supporting people who are dying and their families.
A spokesperson said: "This is a wonderful accomplishment for our amazing team who have worked tirelessly now for six years in the Ayrshire community.
"To support people who are dying and their families - creating many life changing moments for families, supporting them through this very important stage of life, which also helps with the grieving process.
"With referrals drastically increasing each week we now need investors to help us in our quest for a base.
