THE search is on to find the next Auchinleck citizen of the year.
The annual award, organised by the village's community council, seeks to find those who have gone above and beyond to help others around the area.
Auchinleck Community Council will be searching for its fifth worthy recipient of the award, with previous winners being Robbie Muir, Janice Allan, Henry Dumigan and Agnes McConnel.
Nominations are now open to find the next title holder.
