PUBLIC views are being sought on the current state of East Ayrshire Community Hospital in order to help shape its future.

The local authority's health and social care partnership is asking people to register for the event, where they will be sharing their current experiences of using the facility.

The event is aimed at people who use the hospital space, including unpaid carers, members of the local community, and third and independent sector providers, as well as colleagues from across health and social care.

The in-person event takes place on Friday, November 29 at Netherthird Community Centre in Cumnock from 10am until 3.30pm.

Tea and coffee will be served at 9.45am before the event kicks off at 10am with an overview of the hospital and workshops.

Lunch will be provided from 12.30pm to 1.15pm, with the afternoon then focusing on future planning for the hospital.
