A TRAILBLAZING Cumnock company has been praised for its innovative work following a visit from the local MP.
Emergency One, based at Caponacre Industrial Estate, is a nationally trusted manufacturer of fire engines.
Since it was founded in 1989, the company has now grown into one of the main employers in the area, with acclaim coming from King Charles in the past.
More recently, praise has come at a more local level, following a visit from MP, Elaine Stewart.
The Labour representative visited the Cumnock factory to learn all about what goes on, and how it has become a force for good change and progress in the local area.
Speaking about her visit, the Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock MP said: "The UK Government is proud to support the growth of independent Scottish businesses.
"Today, I’m visiting Emergency One, a local company based in Cumnock, which is the UK leading manufacturer of fire and rescue vehicles.
"With a growing international presence, this Ayrshire-based company is sharing its innovation and expertise right across the globe, while creating jobs and growing the UK economy."
