PUPILS at the Robert Burns Academy (RBA) are on the lookout for Christmas donations to support a local cause.
The school in Cumnock is looking to take on as many unused or unopened gifts as possible to donate to vulnerable families across Ayrshire.
They are collecting gifts suitable for any age range, including toys, board games, hats and scarfs, chocolates and sweets, clothes and PJs, books and stationery, and health and beauty gift sets.
These efforts will help support the Night Before Christmas Campaign, which was set up back in 2015 to help families struggling at this time of year.

RBA has taken part in the campaign for the last couple of years, collecting thousands of bags to be distributed to local families.
Thanks to the generosity of staff, pupils and parents/carers, the donations were used to create 'Red Bags of Joy' and some of the school's own pupils benefitted from these bags of joy, along with other children across Ayrshire.
Donations are being collected for this year's efforts up until Friday, December 6.
Anyone able to support the collections can hand them into the main reception at the Barony Campus, or give to your child to hand into Miss McCulloch in C0-15 or the science/English staffroom.
