PUPILS and staff from the Robert Burns Academy have raised an incredible amount of money for charity.
A dedicated team of fitness fanatics from the Cumnock school took part in the Great Scottish Run earlier this year, in support of Ayrshire Cancer Support.
They took on the run in honour of a school favourite who sadly passed away recently.

Bernard Shepherd, a teacher at the school, came up with the idea of entering the yearly event, having battled through a range of fund-raising events during his time.
This year, pupils and staff from the school were once again raising money for the cancer charity in honour of former school janitor, Chris Walker, who sadly passed away recently.
Now, the school has revealed that an amazing £3,011 has been gathered, which will go towards helping the charity's work.
Over the years, Mr Shepherd has gathered up teams from the school to compete in the Glasgow run, as well as the Kilmarnock Roon the Toon, and raised money for various causes such as Alzheimer Scotland and Ayrshire Cancer support.
He said the school was "impacted by the sudden passing" of Mr Walker.
The charity works closely with pupils from the school, offering a drop-in service every two weeks.
