SCOTTISH Water work is set to continue in Mauchline next week, the company has confirmed.
"CCTV and cleaning activities" are currently being carried out, with temporary lights being in place on occasions around the town's cross.
The current work was due to be completed by November 1.
However, Scottish Water has said that work will now take place between Monday, November 4 and Thursday, November 7.

Temporary traffic lights are set to be in place during these works, which will take place from 8pm-6am each night.
Thankfully for drivers, it means that the lights should be removed for rush hours.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Works are taking place at various manholes on the A76, Kilmarnock Road, Mauchline from Monday 4 - until Thursday 7 November, to carry out CCTV and cleaning activities. These works will take place overnight from 8pm to 6am.
"Temporary traffic lights will be in place during the works, but will be removed during the day.
"We’d like to thank road users for their patience while these vital works are being carried out.”
