MORE than £12,000 in council grants looks set to go towards local good causes in the most recent round of funding.
East Ayrshire Council offers a wide range of grants to local voluntary organisations, via the grants committee.
Thousands of pounds is frequently granted to various groups, charities and other events across the area.
Quarterly funding can be paid out to a range of good causes across East Ayrshire, with £12,650.68 looking to be paid towards groups in the Cumnock and Doon Valley area.
Logan Day Centre User Group was awarded £1,100 to go towards repainting the main hall and toilet areas.
Ayrshire Visually Impaired Social Club received £960 to support the work of helping blind or visually impaired people in the area. Some of the funding went towards taking a group out for lunch in Auchinleck.
Cumnock Arts Makes People Smile (CAMPS) was granted £852.51, which will be used for lighting equipment at future events.
Auchinleck Community Development Initiative (ACDI) received £995.17 to purchase test kits for a Recover Together and eHealth and Well-being Event on September 18.
A total of £6,803 could go towards Cumnock & District Round Table's fireworks display at Murray park this weekend, with costs paying for the likes of first aid, toilets and tower lights.

Cronberry Scottish Women’s Institute was given a total of £690 to pay for the rental of a hall, demonstrators and admin resources.
£1,250 could be paid out to New Cumnock Burns Club that will assist with the costs of hosting a series of events during 2025, including a smoker event and a St Andrews debate.
Almost £9,000 was also paid out towards events and groups across Fenwick, Kilmarnock, Darvel, Gilfoot and Knockentiber.
