A KIND-hearted Ayrshire taxi company is offering free travel for over 70s once a week.
Thistle Cabs Group, which operates in South and East Ayrshire, is extending the offer to "assist our seniors in the winter months".
A spokesperson said: "As winter's chill sets in and the days grow shorter, Thistle Cabs Group is committed to helping our cherished senior citizens stay warm, connected, and mobile.
"Throughout November and December, we're offering free travel for senior citizens aged 70 and above, every Wednesday from 9.30am to 1.30pm in East and South Ayrshire.
"We understand that winter can present challenges, so we're here to help our elderly community members get around safely.
"Together, we can make this winter a little brighter for them!"
