A FORMER day centre in Sorn could soon be transformed into a new home in the village.
The building, on Main Street, was advertised for let by East Ayrshire Council back in March.
At the time, an online listing said that it would be ideal as an office space, retail or a tearoom, but that any development may require planning permission.
The local authority said that building could also be sold, and that any future use of the building may be subject to a planning application.

It now looks like the building, which has had a number of previous uses, will be getting transformed into a new home, if plans are approved.
An application to the council's planning department is seeking to change it into a one-bedroom residential space.
