THE season closure date for New Cumnock Swimming Pool has been announced.
Scotland’s only fresh water, outdoor, heated public lido – the Tamar Manoukian New Cumnock Swimming Pool - welcomes swimmers from across Ayrshire when it opens every year.
After what has been another successful year for the pool, run by the King's Foundation, it will close for the season following on from its final float session on Saturday, November 2.

Season 2024's penultimate season float sessions will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 12.30pm and 2pm.
The hour-long sessions will be filled with music, large floats and a free ice cream for paying children under the age of 16.
Sessions cost £5 per person and can be booked by contacting the pool's Facebook page or calling 01292 333891.
The pool is scheduled to reopen in Spring 2025.
The revamped facility was opened in June 2017 by the then-HRH The Prince of Wales, President of The Prince’s Foundation.
The popular lido welcomed 37,000 visitors to East Ayrshire from all over the world in its first full season following refurbishment that year.
