AN AYRSHIRE dog charity has made a plea to support wo dogs that recently lost their owner.
Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue (ADDR) work across the area to reunite owners with their missing pets using hi-tech equipment and a team of dedicated volunteers.
They are often called out to some unusual circumstances and step in to support as many dogs as they can.
Now the charity has taken on care for two dogs whose owners sadly passed away this week.
The charity says Prince and Bear "face an uncertain future" with no home lined up and local rescues bursting at the seams already.
Now, ADDR is asking the public to pledge their support to help the dogs for the time being.
A post from the charity said: "We’ve managed to secure a future rescue space, but until it becomes available, we couldn’t bear to leave them without help.
"That’s why we’ve stepped in to find them a temporary safe haven where they can stay together, receive veterinary care, and undergo any needed behaviour assessments.
"We are deeply sorry to ask, but we cannot do this without your support and once again, we are turning to our generous community for help.
"Your kindness has always been our lifeline, and we know you’ll understand why we had to say “yes” to saving Prince and Bear.
"Every donation, big or small, will bring these innocent dogs closer to the care and love they so desperately need."
Details on how to support the dogs and the charity's overall work can be found on the Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue Facebook page.
