A MAIN road through Catrine will be closed off for two working weeks next month for resurfacing work to be carried out.
Work will take place on the B705 Townhead, near to the junction with Sorn Street.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA), which carries out road work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will also be undertaking footway resurfacing work.
A closure is set to be in place from Monday, November 11 until Friday, November 22.

The road is expected to be closed between 8am and 5pm each Monday to Friday during these dates, with the road remaining open at the weekend.
An official alternative route will be in place via the B705 to Mauchline, along the A76 in Mauchline before turning onto the B743 Sorn Road back into Catrine, and vice versa.
Drivers from Catrine's Sorn Street will be able to access B705 towards Auchinleck throughout the work.
