MAUCHLINE United has announced the signing of a former New Cumnock footballing hero.
The Ayrshire AFA side has welcomed Ryan McChesney to the team, bringing a wealth of experience with him.
He has enjoyed spells recently at Dalbeattie Star and Maybole juniors, as well as being named Nithsdale Wanderers player-manager.

However, his most notable footballing experience was being a treble winner with Glenafton Athletic in the 2016/17 season.
McChesney joins his new club with them currently sitting second in the Ayrshire AFA Budget Blinds Division 1 league table.
Welcoming their new signing, a club spokesperson said: "We would like to welcome Ryan McChesney to the club.
"Ryan brings a wealth of experience to the side having played at a higher level with Glenafton Athletic, winning Scottish Cups and league titles as well as Nithsdale and Dalbeattie Star in the lowland league.
"Welcome to Mauchline, Ryan".
