ROAD users are being warned that a road near a busy East Ayrshire roundabout will be closed off this weekend.
Work is set to be carried out at the Crossroads Roundabout, which will close off traffic in both directions along the A719 exit towards Ayr, as well as a section of the C53 road adjacent.
Transformer delivery will be carried out on this section of the road, towards the South Ayrshire boundary.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which carries out work on the roads on behalf of East and South Ayrshire Council, says that the closure will begin at 8pm on Sunday, October 13 until 6pm on Monday, October 14.
A 20-mile diversion will be in place for drivers via the A719, A77, A76 and vice versa.
