A UNIQUE housing development company based in Cumnock is set to be part of a new initiative.

Connect Modular, part of the Wee House Group based at Caponacre, delivers custom-built single houses or larger-scale creations, with a chunk of the homes created at the Cumnock site.

Homes are then transported to site for final installation and fittings to be completed.

The company has delivered a range of developments right across Scotland.

Now, the latest venture takes Connect Modular to Rothesay for a new housing development.

Connect Modular and Fyne Homes will create eight new homes on the Isle of Bute.

This project marks a significant milestone in addressing the demand for affordable, family, housing on the island.

Occupying a brownfield site on Ballochgoy Road, which has been a gap site for several years, the development will comprise six three-bedroom homes and two four-bedroom homes.

Modular construction aims to provide an efficient solution to overcome the logistical challenges of developing affordable housing in island locations.

Connect Modular will construct the new homes at its manufacturing facility in Cumnock, before delivering them to Rothesay approximately 90% complete.
