(Image: Newsquest) Cumnock looked set to have the scariest Hallowe’en ever in 2004, courtesy of the Investment in Drama group based at Thistle Business Park. They launched a three day event called Shriek Week, catering for all ages.

(Image: Newsquest) Kyle Luni was a big prizewinner at the Cumnock Gala Day. He was presented with his very own mountain bike by gala committee members Senga McCulloch and Carol Walker in October 2004.
