NEW Cumnock Development Trust (NCDT) is on the lookout for anyone with any books going spare.
The community group is asking if anyone in the area can donate some extra books so they can create a community lending library.
As part of recycling week 2024, which runs from October 14-20, NCDT is looking for printed works of all shapes and sizes, and to suit all ages.

They must be in a good readable condition.
The hope is that the donations can create a diverse library of books that people in New Cumnock can borrow and save old books going to waste.
Anyone with any spare books can drop them into the NCDT office on Castle between Monday- Thursday 9.30am-4.30pm.
