A ROAD between Mauchline and Catrine is to close for more than a week next month.
Carriageway patching will take place on the B705, carried out by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which maintains the roads on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.
The road which connects Mauchline and Catrine is set to be shut from 8am on Monday, October 7.
A diversion will be in place via A76 Mauchline, B713 Catrine, B705 and vice versa.
ARA says emergency services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians outside of the working zone will be maintained where possible and safe to do so.
