CLASS B drugs worth more than half a million pounds have been seized from sites in Ayrshire as part of two police raids this week.
On Thursday, September 12, officers discovered more than 300 cannabis plants in Muirkirk.
The plants have a potential street value of £219,000, according to police.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and he was due to appear in court on Friday.
On Wednesday, officers also discovered a cultivation in Kilmarnock's King Street.
More than 500 plants, worth an estimated street value of £314,000, were seized.
According to police, enquiries into the drugs stash remain ongoing.
Earlier that day a cannabis cultivation was also discovered in Renfrew.
More than 100 plants were removed from a property on Aranthrue Crescent, worth an estimated £66,000.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.
Police said he was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday.
Detective Inspector Keith Runcie said: “We know drugs cause real harm in our communities and tackling them remains a high priority for us.
"We remain committed to protecting the public and targeting anyone involved in illegal activity which contributes negatively to the local communities we serve.”
