A new report has revealed the number of deliberate fires recorded in the area.
The data, submitted by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) to East Ayrshire Council covers a three-month period between April 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024.
Analysis is broken down into each ward area, with an overall East Ayrshire average showing whether the area's average has increased or decreased compared to the three-year average.
According to the report, there were eight deliberate fires in the Ballochmyle ward during this time, with 11 in Cumnock and New Cumnock, and 12 in Doon Valley.

Thankfully, there were no fire causalities recorded in the area during this time.
Ballochmyle recorded one accidental house fire in this time, with none in Cumnock and New Cumnock or Doon Valley.
The SFRS report stated there were six non-fire casualties in this time in Ballochmyle, with three in Cumnock and New Cumnock, and one in Doon Valley.
Ballochmyle had 15 unwanted fire alarm signals in this time, which was the second-highest in East Ayrshire.
Cumnock and New Cumnock recorded six, whole Doon Valley had four.
The committee will meet to discuss the figures on Tuesday, September 3.
