A diamond couple from Patna enjoyed a wonderful wedding milestone recently.
Alex and Mary Kirkwood recently marked 60 years of marriage, as they celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary.
Depute Provost Claire Leitch and Councillor Drew Filson visited the Patna couple recently to congratulate them on their occasion.
The couple was presented with flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council.
They also got a message from the King and Queen consort.
