New Cumnock's scout group is set to receive a funding boost from East Ayrshire Council, according to a grants report.
The 46th Ayrshire New Cumnock Scout Group has requested a grant to build a cooking and BBQ shelter at the Scout Hall.
The club aims to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the young people of New Cumnock and offer an environment where young people feel safe and supported whilst engaging in scouting activities.

They have requested a sum of £4,380 to build the shelter, after a previous one was damaged by vandals.
A previous Renewable Energy Fund grant of £10,000 was awarded to the group in September 2022 to install CCTV and paint the interior and exterior of the scout hall.
The group own the building and it is available to other community groups for meetings and events.
Prior to the vandalism, the BBQ area was a popular spot, and used as part of many events.
