East Ayrshire Council has set out a timeframe for when repair work will take place on damaged path in Cumnock.
We reported how a section of the footpath running adjacent to the Woodroad Park's play area had been damaged by recent heavy rain.
Part of the nearby grass has also been affected by flooding.

Locals had become concerned about the potential health and safety implications of the condition of the footpath, with it becoming largely unusable for those in a wheelchair or parents using a pram.
Councillor Neill Watts said he was made aware that a work order had been issued to solve the issue.
Now, East Ayrshire Council bosses have said work will aim to be finished by the "end of September".
A spokesperson said: "Our maintenance contractor has been instructed to carry out remedial works on the path including levelling out ruts and making it well compacted to provide a level surface.
"The work is due to be completed by the end of September."
