East Ayrshire Council has provided a update on Mauchline Primary and Early Childhood Centre for the remainder of the week after it was forced to close today (August 26).
The facility had to close due to no running water on Monday.
Parents and guardians were made aware of the issue early on Monday morning and were told the school would be closed for the day.
Council bosses said that engineers were due to attend the school and assess the situation, and an update would be provided later in the day.
Now, the local authority has said it is expected that the school will return to normal from tomorrow (August 27).
An update said: "It is anticipated that Mauchline Primary and Early Childhood Centre will open as normal tomorrow, Tuesday 27 August."
