A local MSP has been full of praise for the efforts gone into a successful fun day in Drongan at the weekend.
The team at The Boolers in the village, along with Drongan United Grassroot, hosted their very own D In The Park event on Saturday.
Building on the success of previous days in the village, Saturday's event was bigger and better than before, with huge crowds in attendance.
The organisers were able to greatly expand the scale of the event thanks to a fundraiser launched earlier in the year.
Included on the day was the likes of live music, fun rides, alpacas, laser tag and much more, with the hopes that it can become an annual event.
After fundraising efforts went towards the cost of the day, people of all ages went along and had fun.
South Scotland MSP, Carol Mochan, was one of those who went along and said the day was a credit to the village.
Ms Mochan took part in a number of the games that were laid on by the organisers, including throwing her first ever axe.
She said: “I had such a wonderful time at D in the Park, I really hope we see it again next year.
"There were hundreds of local families enjoying themselves at the very heart of our community and it took me back to some of the great galas we used to have in every town and village across East Ayrshire.
“It’s a credit to the organisers, their sponsors, and all the volunteers from the local community that they could bring this whole thing together."
