A NEW Cumnock music group have planned a special event to mark their latest anniversary.
Sweet Afton Water Acoustic Music have been operating in the town for nine years, with the occasion to be celebrated this month.
The group hold events on the last Sunday of the month, and with their anniversary in mind, a great day of music is planned on August 25.
The event is set to take place in the New Cumnock Working Men's Club from 2-5pm.
This will feature an hour of music from special guest Dave Mason, who will be performing for the crowd.
Following this, the floor will be opened for two hours, with all welcome to display their talents.
