A loving husband and wife from Patna have celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary.
Ralph and Davina Mitchell reached 60 years of marriage last month - making it to their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.
The couple were visited by local councillor Drew Filson and Depute Provost Claire Leitch.
They passed on flowers on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, as well as a message from The King and Queen.
Cllr Filson said: "Congratulations to Ralph and Davina Mitchell on celebrating their Diamond Wedding.
"It was an honour to visit the lovely couple with Deputy Provost Claire Leitch in their beautiful garden and meeting Mac [Ralph and Davina's dog].
