A popular café in New Cumnock has been listed for sale, but owners say it's not the end.
Plakous café on Afton Bridgend, is a Greek-inspired eatery which opened in December 2022.
People from New Cumnock and beyond have grown to love the selection of foods, pastries, cakes and all sorts that have been sold.
However, a change of direction has been decided by those in charge of the café.
An update from the team said that they will be selling the café and operating from an online-only basis once the sale of the New Cumnock location is finalised.
They said: "Sometimes you have to sacrifice something in order to move forward for something better and more.
"So, we at Plakοus Limited decided to sell the Café business in New Cumnock and to keep going with the production kitchen making our unique handcrafted products, Greek stuffed pies, meals, sweet delicacies.
"You can buy all those products through Plakous e-shop, www.plakous.co.uk and at selected points.
"Plakous Café will be open until the day of change of business owner.
"Thank you lovely customers for your continuous support. We will be with you making all the products you love."
The shop has been listed on Rightmove for a price of £400 pcm.
