One of the area's oldest businesses is set to close its doors at the end of the year.
Mary's Fabric Shop, located at the corner of Townhead Street and Glaisnock Street has been a fixture in the town for over six decades.
Having opened back in 1960, the shop has served customers to the highest standards with curtain design and textiles.

However, a weekend announcement on the business Facebook Page said that the shop will close at the end of the year.
The announcement said: "Our beloved Mary's Fabric Shop has been in our family for three generations.
"However, as much as we love working in the shop we have made the decision to close the doors for good at the end of year.
"We would like to thank you our beloved customers for all your support and friendship over the years".

Locals and former staff members were quick to offer their well-wishes.
One person said: "Honoured to have been brought up in such a well loved family establishment.
"Loved my Saturday job. You have done a super job as custodians of in my humble opinion "the heart of Cumnock" and you have embraced the technical era.
"You can both cross the finish line holding your heads high.
"The business will have its place in Cumnock History and the hearts of the people of Cumnock for generations."
Another added: "Always an amazing service from this wonderful business that will be deeply missed by the local community and beyond. Best wishes as you close your doors at the end of the year."
