A 25-mile diversion is set to be in place for a weekend road closure, which may cause issues for Logan residents.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance (ARA), which carries out work on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, will close a section of the A70 for carriageway resurfacing.
Resurfacing work will be carried out on a section of the A70 close to its junction with Glenmuir Road towards Logan.

From Monday, August 26 until Friday, August 30, work will begin under temporary traffic management and a convoy system.
According to the ARA website, a full closure will then be in place on the section of road, cutting off access to Glenmuir Road, from 8am until 8pm on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1.
A diversion route for drivers along the A70 will be signed via B743 Sorn to Mauchline, A76 Cumnock A70 and vice versa.
