A Mauchline dental surgery has warned that patients could be deregistered after a large amount of no-shows this month.
Mauchline Dental Surgery, on Kilmarnock Road, said that there have been more than 50 appointments that people didn't show up for in July.
With a long waiting list of people looking to join the practice, they said they may have resort to getting rid of repeat offenders.

A spokesperson said: "From July 1 to today we have had 53 patients failing to attend their appointments. This is not acceptable and persistent offenders may be deregistered as a result of this.
"At present, we have a waiting list of patients looking to join our practice.
"We ask you are mindful of your appointments and if you are unable to attend, we require 24 hours notice so we have enough time to offer another patient the said appointment."
