A FAMILY fun walk in New Cumnock has been rescheduled to the start of next week.

The free event, organised through the New Cumnock Development Trust's Young Deciders Fund, was originally due to take place on Monday of this week.

But the Trust has announced that it will now take place this Monday, August 5, starting at 11am at the New Cumnock Scout Hut.

The walk was suggested by Rocco Park in a competition run by the fund.

It's a chance to hunt down some famous New Cumnock landmarks, mark off a series of discoveries in a scavenger hunt, and enjoy a barbecue lunch afterwards, with prizes to be won.

All children and young people must be accompanied by an adult. Places can be booked online via ticketsource.co.uk/new-cumnck-development-trust.
