A section of a New Cumnock road will be closed off next week to allow Scottish Water work to take place.
Work is set to be carried out on the B741 Leggate, with a full road closure set to be in place throughout.
The road is set to be closed from 9.30am until 6pm on Wednesday, August 1.
Work will be dependant on weather conditions and emergency services access will not be affected.
A diversion is in place via the A76 towards Cumnock, the A70 towards Coylton, the B742 for Hollybush, the A713 towards Dalmellington and then the B741 back to New Cumnock and vice versa.
An alternative route for high-sided vehicles is via the A76 towards Cumnock, the A70 towards Coylton, the U728 ad B7046 towards Sinclairston, the B730 to Drongan, the B742 for Hollybush, the A713 towards Dalmellington and then the B741 back to New Cumnock and vice versa.
