Two Dalmellington streets could soon be fitted with speed-calming measures.
The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which deals with road maintenance issues on behalf of East Ayrshire Council, has launched a consultation about six new speed bumps being installed in the market town.
One plan is to install two 75mm-high speed bumps on Bellsbank Road.
As well as this, there are plans for four speed bumps to be installed at various points along the B741 coming into Dalmellington from the New Cumnock side.
Objectors to these plans can write to Ayrshire Roads Alliance, Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD by Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
More information can be found on the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website.
