NEW photos have been revealed showing the progress of work to rebuild a Cumnock business badly damaged by a fire a year ago.
The Cumnock Factory Outlet premises in Craigens Road were hit by a devastating blaze in the early hours of July 22, 2023., with the flames causing significant damage to the interior.
It has remained closed ever since to allow rebuilding work to take place.
Images shared on the shop's social media showed how extensive the damage had been.
The photos showed how the fire had ripped through the main area of the building, with extensive damage seen in what used to be the cafΓ© area.
An initial opening date had been set for this September, with work ongoing to fix the fire-damaged areas.
However, the outlet recently announced that an opening date has been set for November, with further images posted on social media showing how work is progressing.
They plan to provide further updates every two weeks.
A company spokesperson said: "James and Jonathan are onsite with project manager Callum as we now sign off on the rebuild plans.
"We will now share this journey with you all, with updates every fortnight on our Facebook page.
"We are so excited to be working on our brand new look outlet.
"Reopening November 2024."
