A group of youngsters have recently completed a water safety and fishing techniques course at a club near Dalmellington.
Organised by Drumgrange and Keirs Angling Club, the course taught them about water safety, salmon preservation and safe handling and release techniques.
The club covers nine miles of water, stretching from the banks of Loch Doon, through Ness Glen and past Waterside.
The courses were supported by Brockwell's community fund, provided by the North Kyle Wind Farm near Dalmellington.
Those who completed the course were given a free fishing permit to fish in the water.
A spokesperson for the club said: "Another amazing bunch of children keen on learning about salmon preservation and water safety.
"Some really good questions and answers tonight, well done everyone
"We hope that these sessions have been beneficial to the children, we as a committee have thoroughly enjoyed facilitating them.
"Huge thanks again to Brockwell Energy who have provided funding which enables us to provide sessions like this to our community."
