ONE of Ayrshire's most popular annual music festivals has brought another fabulous few days of entertainment to the area.
The Doonfest event draws in crowds from right across Ayrshire and beyond, as Dalrymple hosts a range of talented artists.
It was once again organised by a small team of enthusiastic locals with support from other people in the community.
Organisers ay that the event is one way to bring a music event to people who may not be able to travel across the country to see similar acts.
Hundreds of people showed up once again to take in the entertainment, with the event costing around £6,000 to organise.
Doon Valley councillor Jennifer Hogg, who is one of the event organisers, says Doonfest is incredibly important for the area.
Cllr Hogg said: "This event is amazing for youngsters and all ages of people from Dalrymple, the Doon Valley and across East Ayrshire.
"It opens a whole new world up for people who wouldn't otherwise experience this stuff.
"It's a brilliant event that brings together so many people from all walks of life."
