Logan Primary School pupils enjoyed a fun-filled school trip before schools finished up for the summer.

A group of lucky students go the chance to visit nearby Culzean Castle.

During their visit, kids got to explore the gas house, learning about scientist William Murdoch from Lugar.

Mr Murdoch was believed to be the first in Britain to construct and use a steam road vehicle.

Youngsters also got to explore the castle and grounds, and enjoyed playing in the adventure park.

A lucky day for weather meant they were also able to spend some time on the beach, before having some snacks and heading home.

It was the perfect way to end the school year, before pupils return on Wednesday, August 21.
