A fundraising bingo night is being held this month to support a planned fun day in Drongan.
The team at The Boolers in the village, along with Drongan United Grassroot, is hosting their very own D In The Park event, with proceeds from the bingo night going towards the day.
The team say they still need to raise another £2,000 before the day of the event, with the planned bingo night on Monday, July 22 set to help towards this.
The D In The Park event is set to include all sorts from live music, fun rides, alpacas, laser tag and much more.
A date has been set for the jam-packed day of Saturday, August 17 from 11am-4pm.
Wristbands can also be purchased for the event on the day, or from Santa Cruz Tanning Shop in Drongan, for £5 per person.
They are not essential to gain entry to the event, but do allow for unlimited access on rides.
Since taking over the building in 2019, Ryan McCubbin has set about transforming The Boolers into a Drongan favourite, which has become a real pillar in the community.
Previously, they've held two annual fun days within their grounds, featuring a bouncy castle, fun stalls and entertainment.
They said: "On Monday 22nd July we have a prize bingo on to raise funds for D in the Park. Doors open at 6pm for 6:30pm start and tickets are on sale at Santa Cruz tanning shop for 50p each.
"We still need to raise around £2000 between now and the funday & would appreciate it if as many people as possible could attend this to try and make this possible, I’ll be donating all money made from the bar on the night as well.
"As can be seen from the pictures this will be a massive day for the village and surrounding areas with entertainment for all ages!
"As a guide the usual fun day we have costs around £2000-£2500 to run and this time it’s costing around £15,000+ due to the amount of things we have on and also things required to obtain the personal entertainment license."
