Kirkconnel and Kelloholm’s Children’s Gala day in 2009 was a big hit with parents and kids alike. Gala Queen Lauren Currie was crowned by Councillor John Syme and was watched by attendants Abbie Gallacher and Ashley Marshall, and Page Boy Jack Carlyle.
